Google Haskell County

Haskell County, in north-central Texas, is the site of a new Google data center campus that the company said will include a dedicated solar and battery-storage plant built alongside it — one of two new county-level sites named in Google's $40 billion Texas investment through 2027, together with a companion campus in Armstrong County and a further-along project already under construction in Wilbarger County. The statewide announcement ties the buildout to more than 7,800 megawatts of new energy generation and capacity Google has contracted for the Texas grid, a $30 million Energy Impact Fund for energy affordability and workforce programs, and an Electrical Training Alliance initiative aiming to train over 1,700 apprentices statewide by 2030. Beyond confirming the co-located solar-and-storage plant, Google has not published a power-capacity figure, building count, floor area, construction timeline or site-specific investment amount for the Haskell County campus.
