JAX2 at 4800 Spring Park Road is Cologix's enterprise data center and disaster-recovery site in Jacksonville, Florida, south of the central business district and outside the floodplain. The operator describes a 125,000 sq ft hurricane-rated building with reinforced walls, steel door barriers and window screens rated to stop a 200-mph projectile. Power is a 2N UPS with N+1 generators and cooling is N+1 DX. JAX2 has dark-fiber connectivity to the meet-me room at Cologix's JAX1 building at 421 West Church Street, giving access to more than 40 carriers via the Metro Connect ring, while its own meet-me room hosts 8+ networks.
