Telehouse New York Teleport

Telehouse New York Teleport is the largest Telehouse facility in the United States, occupying 162,000 sq ft inside The Teleport, a 100-acre office and technology park on Staten Island operated by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, about 17 miles from Manhattan and 12 miles from Newark Airport. The building has run continuously since 1989, and Telehouse states it has never lost critical power in that time. Power infrastructure includes 10 MW of available commercial capacity, six diesel generators totaling 5,625 kVA with 48 hours of on-site fuel, static A/B UPS systems up to 4,700 kVA and eight battery strings rated for 15 minutes each. Cooling runs on N+1 redundant air-conditioning with central HVAC monitoring, and cabinets can be provisioned up to 20 kW. Telehouse cites 99.999%-plus reliability for the site. No third-party Tier or ISO certification is disclosed for the building specifically, though Telehouse markets it as carrier-neutral with diverse fiber routes into Manhattan and New Jersey. Teleport anchors Telehouse's two-site New York presence alongside the smaller Chelsea facility in Manhattan.
