Equinix SV8 is a three-story reinforced-concrete building at 529 Bryant Street in Palo Alto, the smallest of the Silicon Valley buildings covered here and the only one located directly in Palo Alto rather than San Jose, Santa Clara or Sunnyvale. It lists 26,296 sq ft (2,443 sqm) of colocation space and a high published raised-floor load capacity of up to 1,500 psf on the slab. Disclosed specs include N+1 power redundancy, N+1 cooling redundancy, N+1 UPS and generator redundancy, a minimum cabinet density of 2 kVA on 120V/208V distribution, and proximity-card entry with 24/7 security; generator autonomy is listed as 'less than 30 hours' at full load, shorter than the other Silicon Valley buildings reviewed. Sustainability features named are limited to LED lighting and decoupled dehumidification alongside standard REC sourcing. High-Density Cooling is not among SV8's available products, which are limited to Private Cage, Secure Cabinet Express and Antenna. Certifications listed are HECVAT, HIPAA, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, ISO 9001, NIST 800-53/FISMA High, PCI DSS, SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II. Total power capacity in MW, cabinet count and the building's opening year are not published.
