Equinix SV12x is a two-story precast-concrete building at 123 Great Oaks Boulevard in San Jose, described by the operator as a hyperscale facility on the same Great Oaks campus as SV1, SV5, SV10 and SV11. It lists 113,000 sq ft (10,498 sqm) of colocation space and a published total sellable capacity of 1,200 kVA. Disclosed specs show N+2 cooling redundancy, N+1 generator redundancy with 30 hours of generator autonomy, and combination-badge access with entrance mantraps and 24/7 video surveillance; UPS redundancy is not published for this building, unlike the rest of the Silicon Valley portfolio. Sustainability features listed are native-plant landscaping, green spaces, high-efficiency UPS, decoupled dehumidification and hot/cold aisle containment; unlike other Silicon Valley buildings, SV12x lists no renewable-energy REC sourcing for 2025. Certifications named are HIPAA, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, NIST 800-53/FISMA High, PCI DSS, SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II — a narrower set than SV1 through SV11, without HECVAT or ISO 50001.
