123NET operates its flagship DC1 data center at 24700 Northwestern Highway in Southfield, part of the Detroit metro, serving as the company's primary colocation and network hub. The 80,000-square-foot facility draws power from a dedicated 20 MW DTE Energy substation, backed by five 2(N+1) redundant Caterpillar diesel generators; a September 2025 expansion added a further 4 MW of capacity dedicated to GPU and liquid-cooled deployments alongside the existing air-cooled halls. Cooling combines hot-aisle/cold-aisle containment with chilled water and Kyoto-wheel indirect evaporative cooling, with the new wing adding direct liquid cooling infrastructure for high-density AI workloads. 123NET, a Michigan-based network and colocation provider, holds SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 audits, and states HIPAA, PCI-DSS and SSAE-18 compliance for the facility. Third-party marketing occasionally describes the building using Tier language, but 123NET's own site does not claim an Uptime Institute Tier certification and the facility does not appear on the Uptime Institute's public registry.
