UzCloud Akhangaran Data Center (Uztelecom DC2)

Akhangaran, an industrial town roughly 50 km east of Tashkent, hosts the largest concentration of Uzbektelecom's cloud infrastructure. The operator publishes two sites here: Site-1 with 0.5 MW of power capacity and 37 IT racks, running 200 blade servers with 7,680 CPU cores, 80 TB of RAM and 4.8 PB of storage; and Site-2 with 1 MW and 70 IT racks, running 192 blade servers with 12,288 CPU cores, 176 TB of RAM and 9.1 PB of storage. Together they account for 107 of the 299 IT racks and 1.5 MW of the 5.1 MW that UzCloud reports across its five Uzbek sites. The Uptime Institute registry lists JSC Uzbektelecom's Akhangaran facility as Uztelecom DC2 with a Tier III Certification of Design Documents; the operator states that Tier III Constructed Facility and Operational Sustainability certificates are still in progress, so the design certificate is the only one issued to date. Published engineering includes N+1 redundancy, dual power feeds, diesel generators with fuel for up to 72 hours and up to 200 Gbps of backbone capacity, against a 99.982 percent SLA. Capacity is sold as sovereign cloud and colocation, mainly to Uzbek enterprises and state-linked customers with data-residency requirements.
