Viettel Cu Chi Data Center — Top 10 data centers in Vietnam 2026
#10 of 25 · See the list →

Viettel broke ground in April 2025 on what it describes as Vietnam's largest data center to date, a hyperscale-class facility inside Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park in Cu Chi district, roughly 25 km from central Ho Chi Minh City and 15 km from Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The four-hectare site is designed for up to 140 MW of power and around 10,000 racks, positioning it among the region's top ten by capacity once complete. Viettel is building the facility to Uptime Institute Tier III standards, with an average density of 10 kW per rack — 2.5 times the national average — and select racks engineered for up to 60 kW to support high-performance computing and AI training clusters. The operator is targeting a design PUE below 1.4, using its own AI-based infrastructure management software alongside cooling technology it has not detailed publicly. Phase one was slated for service in the first quarter of 2026, with full build-out planned to run through 2030 as Viettel expands beyond its existing Hanoi-area campuses at Hoa Lac and Hoai Duc.
