CDC Hume Campus Two

Hume Campus Two is CDC's second facility in Canberra's Hume industrial precinct, built to expand the sovereign capacity the operator established with its original Hume One campus a few kilometres away. The site comprises two data centres, HU4 and HU5, and CDC discloses 51 MW of operating capacity for the campus — more than double Hume One's 21 MW, making it the larger of the two Hume sites. Like the rest of CDC's Canberra footprint, the campus is built for government, defence and other national-critical workloads and carries the highest security accreditations available under the Australian Government's Hosting Certification Framework, with 24/7 on-site security and a resilience design CDC rates as 100% available. The facility is covered by CDC's NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center certification, which spans the operator's entire Australian and New Zealand portfolio and backs more than 100 MW of AI-certified operational capacity company-wide alongside closed-loop and direct liquid-to-chip cooling options. No address, floor space or formal Uptime/TIA tier rating is published for the campus. Hume Two sits within CDC's broader Canberra cluster — alongside Hume One, Fyshwick and the under-construction Beard campus — that together CDC quotes at over 250 MW for the ACT region.
