NEXTDC M3 West Footscray

M3 is NEXTDC's third Melbourne facility, located at 25 Indwe St in West Footscray about 10 km from the CBD. The roughly 41,000 sqm building sits on a wider 100,000 sqm campus and is positioned by the operator as a new digital gateway for Victoria, next to a major electricity substation and core telecommunications infrastructure; the current data centre listing discloses 225 MW of IT capacity, up from the 150 MW target stated when the site launched. NEXTDC markets M3 as its only "Tier IV" facility in Victoria, though this is the operator's own design classification rather than a named third-party certification body.
