VIE2

VIE2 is a 219,500-square-foot (about 20,400 sqm) building at Louis-Hafliger-Gasse 10 in Vienna's 21st district, and the largest of Digital Realty's three disclosed Interxion-branded facilities in Austria — the operator's flagship site in the country. It shares a street address with the smaller VIE1 building as part of the same campus, and both connect directly to the VIX Internet Exchange, positioning Vienna as a hub for Central and Eastern European connectivity rather than just a domestic Austrian market. VIE2 runs 2N UPS redundancy with N+1 cooling, and its certifications span SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 9001, 14001, 22301, 27001 and 50001. Digital Realty does not publish an IT power figure, cooling technology, or year built for VIE2. Security follows the operator's standard model: 24x7 onsite personnel, CCTV with 90-day backup retention, and biometric or photo-badge access control, alongside a 100% renewable energy claim. Together with VIE1 and the separate VIE13 building on Siemensstrasse, VIE2 anchors Digital Realty's entry into Austria, a market the operator entered via its Interxion acquisition rather than ground-up development.
