Santiago 2 is the second of Ascenty's three Chilean data centers, substantially larger than the operator's first Santiago building. The site carries a rated power capacity of 16 MW across 22,000 sqm of gross space and approximately 1,500 racks, with a stated UPS capacity of 70,080 kVA. Power distribution uses the same tri-bus design as Ascenty's other Latin American sites — three independent lines per data hall, generator-plus-static-UPS backup in N+1 configuration — while cooling is upgraded to N+2 redundancy on the dual-coil chilled-water plant, one step beyond Santiago 1's N+1 design. The building is rated for Seismic Zone 4 and a maximum floor load of 1,833 kg/m². Ascenty markets the site as carrier-neutral with dedicated telecom meet-me rooms and a direct connection to PIX Chile, and lists ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and SOC 1/2/3 Type II compliance, matching the certification set disclosed for Santiago 1.
