Santiago 3 is the third and newest of Ascenty's Chilean data centers, built to the same scale as Santiago 2 — 16 MW of site power across 22,000 sqm of gross space, with roughly 1,500 racks and a stated UPS capacity of 70,080 kVA. The site uses Ascenty's standard tri-bus power design with generator-plus-static-UPS N+1 backup and dual diesel tanks rated for 48 hours of autonomy, while cooling runs on a dual-coil chilled-water plant with N+2 redundancy. As with Santiago 1 and 2, the building is precast concrete over a metallic structure, engineered to Chilean seismic-design standards, and carries ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and SOC 1/2/3 Type II certification. Ascenty markets the facility as carrier-neutral with a direct connection to PIX Chile and dedicated telecom meet-me rooms. With three buildings totaling roughly 42 MW around the capital, Santiago is Ascenty's largest Latin American market outside Brazil.
