GDS Beijing 14 (BJ14)

BJ14 sits on the same Tongzhou district site as BJ13, forming the second and final building GDS is developing there under its joint venture with a CITIC Private Equity-controlled fund. GDS discloses the building in three phases: Phase 1, with a net floor area of 8,140 sqm, was reported as 100% pre-committed and came into service in early 2023; Phase 2, at 4,050 sqm and also fully pre-committed, began construction in the fourth quarter of 2022 and was reported in service by the first quarter of 2023; Phase 3, at 2,774 sqm, had just started construction as of GDS's fourth-quarter 2022 disclosure, with no confirmed completion date published since. Combined, the two completed phases add roughly 12,190 sqm of net floor area. GDS does not publish a consolidated power (MW) rating or tier certification for BJ14, and the building should not be confused with an unrelated, differently sited Beijing acquisition target GDS also referred to as "BJ14" in a September 2020 press release, which does not appear in the company's subsequent portfolio disclosures.
