DUS3 sits at In der Steele 27-43 in Düsseldorf, on the same short street as the operator's smaller DUS1 and DUS2 buildings. At 75,000 square feet (about 6,950 sqm), it is the largest of the three and, per Digital Realty, home to the core network node of ECIX, which the operator describes as Germany's second-largest internet exchange — a distinction that sets DUS3 apart from its campus neighbors as the connectivity anchor of the site. The facility runs 2N UPS redundancy with N+1 cooling and carries a narrower published certification set than DUS1 and DUS2: ISO 27001 and the automotive-industry TISAX standard, reflecting Düsseldorf's role serving the region's automotive and industrial customer base, rather than the fuller ISO 9001/14001/50001/22301 plus SOC 2 and PCI-DSS list quoted on the two smaller buildings' own pages (Digital Realty's Düsseldorf metro overview lists all of these certifications collectively). Digital Realty states DUS3 runs on 100% renewable electricity. No IT power figure or year-built date is published.
