</a>FRA7 is firstcolo's planned greenfield expansion in Rosbach vor der Höhe, in the Frankfurt metropolitan region, announced on 14 August 2026 alongside CVC DIF's acquisition of a majority stake in the company from Cube Infrastructure Managers. The site is designed for 24 MW of gross capacity with roughly 16 MW of IT load, built for liquid-cooled high-density racks up to 200 kW each and a target PUE below 1.2. Power is secured through a partnership with regional utility OVAG, and site, permits and a turnkey construction model are already in place, though a construction-start date has not been disclosed. Waste heat from the facility is planned to feed a local district heating partnership. It will sit alongside firstcolo's two existing, near-fully-utilised data centers in the Frankfurt area, which serve more than 350 enterprise customers.
