Hellas Sat HS GR-4

HS GR-4 is Hellas Sat's teleport and data center campus in Koropi, about ten minutes from Athens International Airport. The satellite operator — part of the Hellas Sat/Arabsat group — built the facility primarily to support its own satellite ground infrastructure, but also offers third-party colocation out of a dedicated 300 sqm hall within the 1,000 sqm site. Power is fed from a 2,000 kW utility connection, backed by 1,760 kW of 2N(N+N)-redundant UPS capacity and 3,450 kW of 2N-redundant diesel generation, giving the site unusually deep backup depth for its size. Cooling runs on 2N(N+N) air-conditioning with R410a refrigerant and FM200 gas fire suppression. The Uptime Institute's public award registry confirms Tier IV Certification of both Design Documents and Constructed Facility for the site, alongside ISO 27001, 9001, 14001 and 22301, plus a Greek government classified-information handling certificate reflecting its satellite-communications heritage. The combination of teleport and general-purpose colocation is unusual for the Athens market, which is otherwise dominated by carrier-neutral campuses in the same Koropi corridor.
