Digital Connexion MAA10

MAA10 is the first facility Digital Connexion — a joint venture of Digital Realty, Brookfield Asset Management and Reliance Industries — brought into service in India, on Madras-Thiruvallur High Road in the Ambattur Industrial Estate, a long-established IT corridor on Chennai's west side. The operator lists the underlying campus at 10 acres with room for four buildings and a combined design capacity of 100 MW, though it has not published a power or floor-space figure specific to the building in service today. Digital Connexion pitches Chennai on connectivity rather than raw scale: the city hosts the second-highest number of subsea cable landings in India after Mumbai, giving the site a claim as a low-latency gateway to South Asia, the Middle East and the rest of the APAC region. The operator's own site lists MAA10 as 'Ready for Service.' As the first disclosed building of a newly formed international JV entering the Indian market, the campus is aimed at hyperscalers and global enterprises seeking a South Asian foothold alongside domestic customers already anchored in Chennai's IT corridor, with further buildings expected as the surrounding land is built out.
