Yotta's Chennai project is planned as a five-interconnected-building data center park on a 13-acre site within the Hiranandani Parks development on the Singaperumal–Oragadam highway outside Chennai. The company's current published figures put the finished park at roughly 140 MW of capacity across 25,000 racks, a plan that has grown from the original 2020 memorandum of understanding with the Tamil Nadu government, which described four buildings, 20,000 racks and 150–240 MW with a first phase (25 MW, 5,000 racks) targeted for late 2021. That original phase-one date was never confirmed as delivered in any subsequent release, and Yotta's live pages now describe the park generically as "going live in 2025" without a dated update confirming construction status, a groundbreaking, or partial operation as of September 2026. The MoU cited a planned investment of INR 3,000–4,000 crore over eight to ten years, split between Yotta and its partner Hiranandani Group, and referenced a target of Uptime Institute Tier IV design and construction standards, though no certification has since been announced as achieved. Given the gap between the original 2021 target and the current unconfirmed 2025 claim, the park is catalogued here as announced/planned rather than operational, pending a dated confirmation from Yotta.

  • Planned 5 buildings, 25,000 racks, 140 MW total
  • 13-acre site within Hiranandani Parks, near Singaperumal–Oragadam highway
  • 2020 MoU cited INR 3,000–4,000 crore investment over 8–10 years
  • Targeted Uptime Tier IV design standard (not yet certified)
  • No dated confirmation of construction start or partial go-live as of Sept 2026
