NTT Mumbai 7 Data Center

NTT Mumbai 7 is the largest of NTT's disclosed facilities in the Chandivali cluster of Mumbai, which also includes the smaller Mumbai 5, Mumbai 6 and the Chandivali Data Center Park, plus the separate Vikhroli and Vikhroli IV sites elsewhere in the city. The facility runs 25.6 MW of critical IT load across roughly 10,300 sqm, backed by 24 diesel generators rated 2,500 kVA each and an N+N UPS configuration. Cooling is handled by multiple precision air-conditioning units in an N+2 redundant setup, holding room temperature at 22°C ±2°C. NTT's own marketing describes the site as offering "the highest level of disaster protection and recovery in India," a superlative claim from the operator rather than an independently verified certification. The facility is carrier-neutral with four physically distinct fiber entry paths into the building, a common resilience measure against single-point cable cuts.
