L&T-Cloudfiniti SPD1

L&T-Cloudfiniti SPD1 is Larsen & Toubro's data center campus in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, on the Chennai-Bangalore highway (NH-48), operated under L&T's Cloudfiniti data center and cloud-services brand launched in 2023. The facility has an initial IT load of 30 MW with room to expand to 60 MW, and L&T reports 12 MW of colocation-ready capacity live across two floors. In December 2024, L&T announced the site's first major colocation customer, described as a leading cloud service provider, which signed a 10-year lease for 6 MW of IT load and high-density racks spanning a full floor. The campus is IGBC Platinum certified and includes its own 230kV Gas Insulated Substation, water recycling systems and on-site solar generation. L&T markets SPD1 as an AI-ready facility, supporting high-density racks of 24 kVA and above with in-row, direct liquid and immersion cooling. Physical security includes multiple layers of controls such as boom barriers, road blockers and a perimeter wall, plus round-the-clock trained security staff. L&T-Cloudfiniti also operates or is developing facilities elsewhere in India.
