Digital Edge EDGE2

EDGE2 is the second downtown Jakarta data center built by PT Ekagrata Data Gemilang, the Indonet subsidiary that operated under the EDGE DC brand before rebranding as Digital Edge Indonesia in December 2025 following its integration into the pan-Asian Digital Edge platform. Officially launched February 28, 2024 on Jl. Kuningan Mulia in South Jakarta, less than three kilometers from the operator's existing EDGE1 building, EDGE2 holds 23 MW of total IT load and more than 3,400 racks — which the operator described at launch as the largest data center capacity in the Jakarta metro area. The facility carries Uptime Institute Tier III certification for both Design Documents and Constructed Facility, and the operator has said it uses liquid cooling for high-density racks, reporting a PUE around 1.24. EDGE1 and EDGE2 are linked into a 'virtual campus' giving tenants shared access to more than 50 network carriers and to internet exchanges including the Indonesia Internet Exchange (IIX) and Digital Edge's own EPIX. Digital Edge has separately begun construction of a much larger 500 MW hyperscale campus in Bekasi aimed at AI workloads, positioned outside land- and power-constrained central Jakarta.
