Datatime is the only commercial colocation facility in Kyrgyzstan with an independently verifiable Tier award, and it is small: the operator describes it as a commercial IT data processing centre with 500 kW+ of capacity, and reporting at launch put it at 100 racks covering roughly 20 percent of the country's stated storage need. It opened in Bishkek on 10-11 June 2024 at Koytashsky lane 46/1, with a deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers attending; the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund approved $1 million of project financing. Published engineering: two 6 kV city substation feeds, two 1 MW diesel generators (one active, one standby) with a 12-hour fuel reserve, UPS with 800 kVA of batteries for 10 minutes of autonomy, and N+1 precision cooling with maintenance possible without downtime. The Uptime Institute register lists the site as 'Datatime Bishkek KR Data Center Data 5' with a Tier III Certification of Design Documents dated March 2025, valid to 2027 — design only. Buyers should weigh the country's power position: an energy-sector state of emergency has been in force since August 2023 and runs to the end of 2026, driven by low inflow in the Naryn basin and winter import dependence.
