Global Switch Amsterdam

Global Switch's Amsterdam campus at Johan Huizingalaan 759, in the city's Slotervaart district, is one of the few Dutch colocation sites publicly certified for frontier AI hardware: in July 2025 NVIDIA designated it a DGX-Ready Data Centre capable of hosting liquid-cooled DGX GB200 systems. The campus comprises two buildings — Amsterdam West at 42 MW and Amsterdam East at 32 MW, 74 MW combined — positioned adjacent to the main Dutch communications infrastructure and close to the financial district. It accommodates the full range of rack densities up to ultra-high-density workloads, an unusual spread for a city-centre location. All purchased electricity, including IT load, is sourced from renewables, with biofuel standby generation planned and low-GWP refrigerants specified. Certifications across the campus include ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, PCI DSS and ISAE 3402 attestation. The combination of scale, liquid-cooling capability and central Amsterdam connectivity suits both traditional enterprise colocation and GPU cluster deployments that would normally be pushed to edge-of-metro campuses.
