Digital Halo MNL1 — Top 10 data centers in Philippines 2026
#6 of 16 · See the list →

Digital Halo launched MNL1, its first Philippine data center, on June 3, 2025, on Don Celso Tuason Avenue in Cainta, Rizal, a site the operator picked for its distance from Metro Manila's earthquake, flood and volcanic risk zones while staying within about 20 km of Makati and under 10 km of the Ortigas CBD. MNL1 is the first of three planned buildings on a campus Digital Halo says can scale to roughly 70 MW of IT capacity, with the initial building delivering 6.5 MVA behind an N+1 redundant power architecture fed by dual 34.5 kV utility feeds that can expand to 115 kV as later phases come online. The operator markets the facility as carrier-neutral and AI- and hyperscale-ready, with a design PUE below 1.45, ISO 9001, 27001, 50001 and 14001 certifications, and Green Mark and EDGE green-building credentials; TIA-942 compliance is described as in progress rather than certified. Financing came from a $400 million commitment by Partners Group and Arch Capital plus a 2.78 billion peso ($46.9 million) facility from Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, which Digital Halo describes as the first dedicated data center project financing arranged in the Philippines.

  • $400M Partners Group/Arch Capital backing plus first-ever PH data center project financing from RCBC
