SEL2 has been in service since October 2024 as the 36 MW first phase of a campus in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, that Digital Edge says will exceed 100 MW and rank as South Korea's largest commercial colocation campus once fully built out. Developed in partnership with SK Ecoplant, the project is explicitly AI-first: the design supports rack densities up to 130 kW per cabinet using liquid cooling, with an annualized design PUE of 1.25 achieved through engineering that minimizes both energy and water use. The site lies within the Seoul metropolitan area, reaching the capital's business districts via the Seoul–Incheon Expressway, and extends Digital Edge's Korean footprint beyond its SEL1 facility in Gangnam. An anchor tenant was secured ahead of launch. Digital Edge has said planning for a second phase (SEL3) is underway, with construction targeted to begin as the campus grows toward its 100+ MW goal. Digital Edge's standard interconnection stack — Cross Connect, CrossLink and the EPIX internet exchange — is available on-site, aimed at cloud providers and AI platforms running dense GPU clusters.
