KT Cloud Cheongna AI Data Center

KT Cloud has joined a 50 MW AI data center project in the Cheongna district of Incheon as design-build-operate partner, announced on 7 October 2026. The building is planned with two basement levels and eleven floors above ground and a power-receiving capacity of 50 MW. The design separates a dedicated AI zone, where direct-to-chip liquid cooling serves high-density GPU servers, from a general cloud zone, in a hybrid data hall layout that can follow shifts in demand between AI and conventional workloads. KT Cloud is responsible for design consulting, major mechanical and electrical works, commissioning and later operations, while Hyundai Engineering acts as joint contractor for architectural, civil and facilities works. Construction is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with completion targeted for the first quarter of 2030. The site lies roughly an hour from central Seoul business districts and close to Gimpo and Incheon airports, positioning it for the western part of the capital region. No tenant or total project cost has been disclosed.
