CyrusOne's DUR1 sits at 2223 NE Creek Parkway in Durham's Research Triangle Park, close to Raleigh-Durham International Airport, and gives the operator its first purpose-built site in North Carolina. The facility totals 420,000 sq ft of technical IT space, with 92,320 sq ft of raised floor spread across eleven data halls, and delivers 50 MW of IT capacity. Cooling runs on N+2 redundant Trane chillers paired with Liebert 60-ton CRAH units using variable-speed fans. Data halls sit on 42-inch raised white floors under 24-foot ceilings, in a Zone X (low-risk) flood zone and Zone 1-2 seismic rating. Fire protection combines VESDA very-early smoke detection with double-interlocking pre-action sprinklers, and access requires dual authentication into both the building and individual data halls. CyrusOne backs the site with a 100% uptime service level agreement and 24/7 on-site NOCC and remote-hands support, positioning DUR1 as a carrier-neutral option for enterprise and hyperscale tenants expanding into the Raleigh-Durham market.
