TierPoint's Research Triangle Park data center, despite carrying "Raleigh-RTP" as its market name, sits at 99 TW Alexander Drive in Durham, North Carolina, roughly 24 km from TierPoint's other Raleigh building on Departure Drive. The operator's own facility page describes it as a Tier III data center, though it does not attribute that rating to Uptime Institute certification, so it is recorded here as the operator's self-description rather than a third-party certification. The building totals 70,000+ sq ft, with 34,000+ sq ft of raised floor, and hosts one of TierPoint's multitenant cloud pods. Backup power comes from six 2 MW redundant generators, about 12 MW combined, each rated for a minimum 48-hour runtime. TierPoint states SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II audits and ISO 27001 certification for the site, plus HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GLBA and NIST SP 800-53 coverage and ITAR/Data Privacy Framework registration. No specific IT power capacity, PUE or cooling architecture is published.
