ORD13

ORD13 is the largest of three buildings on Digital Realty's Franklin Park campus, a two-story, 224,500-square-foot (about 20,850 sqm) facility at 9355 Grand Avenue roughly five miles from O'Hare International Airport. The 40-acre master-planned campus — which also includes the smaller ORD12 and ORD14 buildings at 9333 and 9377 Grand Avenue — has direct fiber connectivity to Digital Realty's downtown Chicago sites at 350 East Cermak and 600 South Federal Street, and available capacity on the campus currently qualifies for an Illinois tax exemption through 2030. ORD13 runs N+1 redundancy on both UPS and cooling plant, with a design PUE of 1.3, and Digital Realty reports the building operating on 100% renewable and carbon-free energy. Its certification stack is the broadest among the Franklin Park buildings, covering SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, PCI DSS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001, though it carries no separate sustainability rating. Space is offered from single cabinets to multi-megawatt private suites for enterprise and wholesale tenants.
