Equinix SE4 is a single-story, steel-framed building with precast concrete panels at 6906 South 204th Street in Kent, south of Seattle. The site was formerly Verizon's SEA1 facility and passed to Equinix on May 1, 2017 as part of the operator's US$3.6 billion, 29-data-center acquisition from Verizon, per Equinix's own transaction announcement, which is renamed SE4. It is the largest of Equinix's three current Seattle-metro IBX suites, with 75,003 sq ft (6,968 sqm) of colocation space and a minimum cabinet density of 5 kVA on 120V/208V distribution — the highest among the metro's current facilities and the only one where the operator's spec sheet and web page agree on density. Published backup power is six 2,000 kW diesel generators with N+1 generator and UPS redundancy; cooling is air-cooled DX with CRACs and adiabatic dry-coolers at N+20% redundancy. Certifications named are HECVAT, HIPAA, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, ISO 9001, NIST 800-53/FISMA High, PCI DSS, SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II. Total power capacity in MW, rack count and original construction year are not published.
