Equinix's MI1 IBX data center occupies 50 NE 9th Street in downtown Miami, a six-story reinforced-concrete building known historically as the NAP of the Americas, built by Terremark and later run by Verizon before Equinix acquired it in 2017 along with the rest of Verizon's data-center business.
