VA3 is the largest of CoreSite's three interconnected buildings in Reston, Fairfax County, positioned by the operator as an alternative to the denser and more expensive Ashburn cluster a short distance away. The building spans more than 244,000 sq ft and forms part of a roughly 986,000 sq ft campus alongside VA1 and VA2, linked by dark fiber and to CoreSite's Washington, D.C. facilities. In November 2024, CoreSite completed construction of a new 38,000 sq ft data hall suite inside VA3, adding capacity aimed at high-density, compute-intensive workloads. The Reston campus offers on-site cloud on-ramps into AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Oracle FastConnect and Alibaba Cloud through CoreSite's Open Cloud Exchange, alongside network and enterprise interconnection across the operator's Northern Virginia footprint. CoreSite does not publish individual power figures for VA3, and no third-party facility certifications are listed on the operator's own pages for the building.
