Analyst note: what moved the GB200 price
New floor: GMI Cloud now lists GB200 on-demand at $8.00/GPU-hr, marked 'AVAILABLE NOW' on GMI's own pricing page (confirmed today) — the first sub-$10 on-demand GB200 rate seen, undercutting CoreWeave's long-standing $10.50/GPU-hr listing (still live, $42/hr for a 4-GPU instance). Oracle Cloud bare-metal remains the best-corroborated mid-point at ~$16.00/GPU-hr, which pulls the reasoned median down to ~$13.25/GPU-hr (midpoint of the two confirmed on-demand configs) from last cycle's Oracle-anchored $16.00 read. Azure's ND GB200 v6 bare-metal is unchanged at $108.16/hr for a 4-GPU ND128isr node (re-confirmed today) = $27.04/GPU-hr, still the ceiling. AWS's 1-year reserved rate of $10.58/GPU-hr is unchanged, still the only published contract figure for this SKU.

FAQ
Why does the GB200 price range from $8.00 to $27.04?
Because the tracker covers very different sellers: marketplaces and boutique neoclouds at the bottom, hyperscalers with bundled networking, storage and support at the top. The median $13.25 is the better planning number; the minimum usually comes with capacity limits, older hosts or spot-like terms.
Is the GB200 getting cheaper?
The tracked median moved from $18.50 at the first snapshot (2026-02-01) to $13.25 now, with a peak of $18.79 and a low of $13.25; the change against a year ago is —. Newer generations, provider capacity and inference demand drive the direction — see the analyst note above for the latest move.
What does it cost to buy an GB200 instead?
Coloprice does not publish purchase prices for the GB200: vendors and OEMs do not list them publicly, and quoted figures vary by volume and configuration. For a rent-versus-buy comparison use the calculator on the tools page with your own quote and the rental median $13.25.
Where can I host my own GB200 servers?
In colocation facilities built for high density: current NVIDIA accelerators need liquid cooling or 40–130 kW racks, which only AI-ready halls provide. The colocation pricing pages show wholesale $/kW benchmarks by market, and the catalog marks AI-ready facilities per city.
