Analyst note: what moved the H200 price
Floor moves to Beam's serverless H200 rate of $2.09/GPU-hr (confirmed live on Beam's own pricing page today) — FluidStack's prior $2.30 floor could not be re-verified this cycle: FluidStack no longer has a discoverable public on-demand price page and appears to be sales-quote only, so it drops out of the floor. Typical price holds at ~$4.40/GPU-hr (GetDeploying's tracked median, re-confirmed today), with cheap capacity (GMI Cloud $2.60, Jarvislabs $3.99 on-demand/$1.99 spot) offset by mid-tier providers (Hyperbolic, Crusoe, DigitalOcean, Nebius) clustering $4.0-4.6. Hyperscaler ceiling unchanged: Azure's ND96isr H200 v5 still prices at $110.24/hr for 8 GPUs = $13.78/GPU-hr — no reserved SKU exists for that instance. The prior unsourced ~$3.72 reserved-rate estimate is replaced by a concrete figure: DigitalOcean's published 12-month reserved rate of $3.40/GPU-hr (confirmed live today). Nov 2 refresh: GetDeploying median $4.66/GPU-hr across 38 providers (lowest $2.09 unverified stock, Azure $13.78 ceiling).

FAQ
Why does the H200 price range from $2.09 to $13.78?
Because the tracker covers very different sellers: marketplaces and boutique neoclouds at the bottom, hyperscalers with bundled networking, storage and support at the top. The median $4.66 is the better planning number; the minimum usually comes with capacity limits, older hosts or spot-like terms.
Is the H200 getting cheaper?
The tracked median moved from $3.79 at the first snapshot (2025-03-01) to $4.66 now, with a peak of $4.66 and a low of $3.40; the change against a year ago is +37%. Newer generations, provider capacity and inference demand drive the direction — see the analyst note above for the latest move.
What does it cost to buy an H200 instead?
Coloprice does not publish purchase prices for the H200: vendors and OEMs do not list them publicly, and quoted figures vary by volume and configuration. For a rent-versus-buy comparison use the calculator on the tools page with your own quote and the rental median $4.66.
Where can I host my own H200 servers?
In colocation facilities built for high density: current NVIDIA accelerators need liquid cooling or 40–130 kW racks, which only AI-ready halls provide. The colocation pricing pages show wholesale $/kW benchmarks by market, and the catalog marks AI-ready facilities per city.
