P1 is NEXTDC's first Perth building, located in Malaga about 13 km from the city centre and paired by the operator with P2 Perth as a metro-wide Western Australian platform. NEXTDC lists 3,000 m² of technical space, roughly 10 MW or more of IT capacity and a 1,500-rack capacity. The power design uses an isolated parallel bus supporting N+N delivery to the rack, 1,670 kVA diesel rotary UPS units in a 6+1 arrangement, minimum N+1 redundancy on supply and at least 24 hours of on-site fuel per generator. Cooling combines hot-aisle containment, Stulz indirect free cooling and N+1 chillers and pumps, with N+2 CRAC units per data hall and 24 hours of water storage. The operator describes the site as Tier III certified and cites an Uptime Institute Tier III Gold certification of operation, alongside ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001, SOC 1 and 2 Type II and PCI DSS. NEXTDC does not publish the opening year or a renewable-energy share on the page.
