NEXTDC P2 Perth CBD

NEXTDC P2 is a Tier IV data centre in the Perth CBD, described by the operator as the only facility in Western Australia holding both Tier IV design and constructed certifications. NEXTDC lists 12,000 m² of technical space, 20 MW or more of IT capacity and a capacity of 6,300 racks. The site sits at the gateway to Perth's submarine cable systems and offers local cloud on-ramps for Microsoft and AWS, plus managed and unmanaged interconnects to the P1 Malaga facility at 1 and 10 Gb/s. Power is N+1 with N+N at rack level on an isolated parallel bus, using a 1.5 MW Piller rotary UPS with Penske engines. Cooling combines Stulz indirect free-cooling CRAC units, hot-aisle containment with a cold-flooded room, N+2 CRAC units per data hall, 24 hours of water storage and a peak design heat load of 4,000 W/m². Certifications listed include ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, SOC 1 and 2 Type II and PCI DSS, plus Tier IV Gold for Operational Sustainability. No street address is published on the page.
