Equinix SY4

SY4 is the largest of Equinix's classic retail IBX facilities in Sydney by floor space, a three-storey reinforced-concrete building at 200 Bourke Road in Alexandria, just south of the central business district. The site provides 7,445 sqm of colocation space with N+20% cooling redundancy — a step up from the N+1 cooling at Equinix's older Sydney sites — and carries LEED certification alongside the operator's standard ISO 9001, 14001, 22301, 27001 and 50001 management-system certificates, PCI DSS and SOC 1/2 Type II attestations. Equinix markets the Alexandria cluster, which also includes the smaller SY3 next door, around proximity to the Southern Cross Cable Head and access to the operator's Sydney interconnection ecosystem for carriers, cloud platforms and enterprises serving the Australian and wider Asia-Pacific market. No opening year, power capacity or rack count has been published for the facility. SY4 anchors Equinix's Sydney retail portfolio alongside SY1, SY2, SY3, SY6 and SY7.
