São Paulo 5, in the Anhanguera industrial district of Osasco, began operating in May 2026 as the fifth building in Ascenty's São Paulo capital cluster, following an announced R$300 million investment. The site provides 8 MW of IT capacity across roughly 6,968 m² of raised-floor space and 1,500 racks, with a redundant on-site substation feeding a 4-to-3 (N+1) power distribution system and diesel backup rated for 48 hours without refueling. Ascenty lists the facility under its standard compliance set — Tier III design, ISO 14001, 27001, 37001 and 50001, PCI-DSS, and SOC 1/2/3 Type II reporting. The operator says both São Paulo 5 and the adjacent, still-under-construction São Paulo 6 draw on a renewable-energy supply agreement with wind developer Casa dos Ventos, part of a broader claim of 100% renewable electricity across Ascenty's Brazilian portfolio. The building adds capacity to a São Paulo metro cluster that already includes four earlier Ascenty sites in the same city.
