151 Front Street West is the largest of Telehouse Canada's three Toronto data centers, occupying 205,000 sq ft (19,045 sqm) in what the operator calls Canada's largest carrier hotel. KDDI, Telehouse's parent, acquired the building along with 250 Front Street West and 905 King Street West from Allied Properties REIT in a roughly $1 billion transaction that gave Telehouse ownership of the sites rather than leased space. The facility draws 20 MW through two independent 13.8kV grid feeds, backed by 24 on-site generators with 249,000 liters of diesel fuel for 24-hour sustained operation. Cooling runs primarily on Enwave's Deep Lake Water Cooling (DLWC) district system, drawing chilled water from Lake Ontario, with mechanical chiller backup in a 2N configuration. Connectivity includes two diverse fiber rings of 864 strands each. Telehouse publishes ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR and CCPA compliance for the site and cites a 99.999% uptime SLA. No specific Tier certification is disclosed.
