Why prices sit where they do

Digital Realty (Interxion) is currently the only operator represented in Denmark in the catalog, with four disclosed facilities — three in Ballerup (CPH1, CPH2, CPH3) and one in Valby (CPH-RS) — and zero published power capacity in MW. CPH1, the largest by floor space at roughly 8,000 sqm, carries a CarbonNeutral certification alongside the operator’s standard ISO/SOC/PCI DSS stack; CPH-RS, the smallest of the four, is CarbonNeutral certified as well. Commercial electricity runs $0.286/kWh (GlobalPetrolPrices, Dec 2025), reflecting Denmark’s wind-heavy grid — the country leads Europe in wind generation share. Danish rules also require large data centers to return waste heat to district heating networks, a factor shaping campus design around Copenhagen independent of any single site’s published specs.
