Vantage's Osaka campus (KIX1) occupies 12 acres (5 hectares) in Ibaraki, about 76 km from Kansai International Airport, and is planned to reach 68 MW of critical IT load across two data centers and 485,000 sq ft. The first, 28 MW facility is scheduled to become operational in mid-2026, with the second building completing the campus's build-out. The design uses seismic base-isolation structures, notable given Japan's earthquake risk, alongside a closed-loop chilled-water system with air-side economizers and N+2 component-level mechanical redundancy targeting near-zero water use. An on-site 77 kV substation provides N+1 power, and the campus is carrier-neutral with two meet-me-rooms per data center and three points of entry. Vantage has committed to net-zero carbon emissions by 2030 and provides EV charging for both cars and bikes. No third-party certification is published for the site. Osaka is one of Vantage's newer APAC markets, alongside its established Hong Kong, Malaysia and Australia campuses.
