Equinix TY4 is an IBX data center on the basement level of the North Tower of Otemachi Financial City, a 39-storey steel-frame complex at 1-9-5 Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, in the middle of Tokyo's financial district. Equinix lists 3,178 square metres (34,208 sq ft) of colocation space and describes the building as an aseismic structure complying with Japan's 1981 earthquake-resistance standards. The raised floor is rated at 205 psf and the slab at 307 psf. Power and cooling are specified as N+1 UPS and generator redundancy with 48 hours or more of generator autonomy at full load, and N+20% cooling; the minimum cabinet density is 4 kVA.
