MBA2, Mombasa Two, is the second and larger of Digital Realty's two operating buildings on the Miritini campus, following the original MBA1. The site spans 4,000 sqm of total campus area with two data halls and 1,200 sqm of dedicated IT space, connected to more than 20 networks and offering 600 racks of capacity — more than double MBA1's 250-rack floor. Like MBA1, MBA2 was originally developed and marketed under the iColo brand before Digital Realty's 2026 rebrand of the East African portfolio. Together, MBA1 and MBA2 represent the first two phases of the operator's stated plan to build out Miritini into an 18,000 sqm, 13 MW, three-building coastal campus, mirroring the multi-building approach Digital Realty has taken with its Nairobi NBO1/NBO2 cluster.
