Digital Edge PUS1

PUS1 is Digital Edge's only data center outside the Seoul metro area, located in the Centum City business district of Busan, South Korea's principal port city. The three-story, purpose-built, multi-tenant building holds 9,463 square meters of colocation space across 1,605 cabinets at 2.2 kVA each, powered through two separate substations with N+1 static UPS and two 1,000 kVA gas turbine generators, at a designed annual PUE of 1.5. Its defining feature is direct integration with a submarine cable landing station — the only such combination in South Korea — giving customers direct interconnection to international network capacity without routing through Seoul, while also serving as a geographically redundant disaster-recovery site for Digital Edge's Gangnam (SEL1) and Incheon (SEL2/SEL3) facilities. The facility holds ISO 14001, 27001 and 45001 certifications. Digital Edge positions PUS1 as a way for customers to reduce network costs and build high-availability architectures spanning both of South Korea's largest data center markets.
