MAD4 sits at Calle de Alfonso Gómez 4 in Madrid, a separate campus from the operator's older Albasanz-street buildings (MAD1 and MAD2) and its Emilio Muñoz site (MAD3). At 228,000 square feet (about 21,200 sqm), it is by far the largest of Digital Realty's four disclosed Madrid facilities — more than double the size of MAD3, the next largest — and the operator describes it in its own marketing copy as a new campus built to expand the Madrid footprint. MAD4 runs 2N UPS redundancy with N+1 cooling, and carries the same broad compliance stack as the operator's other Madrid buildings: ISO 9001, 14001, 22301, 27001 and 50001, ISO 20000-1, PCI-DSS, Spain's national ENS security scheme, and SOC 1 and SOC 2 attestations, plus a LEED Gold sustainability certification that MAD1 and MAD3 do not carry. Digital Realty states the site runs on 100% renewable electricity. As with the operator's other Spanish sites, no IT power figure, year-built date, or liquid-cooling detail is published; security follows the standard pattern of onsite personnel, CCTV and biometric or photo-badge access.

  • 228,000 sq ft (21,200 sqm) — largest of four Digital Realty facilities in Madrid
  • 2N UPS with N+1 cooling; LEED Gold, unlike MAD1 and MAD3
  • ISO 9001/14001/22301/27001/50001/20000-1, PCI-DSS, Spain's ENS scheme, SOC 1 and SOC 2
  • Newest of Digital Realty's Madrid campuses, separate from the Albasanz and Emilio Muñoz sites
