ZUR3 occupies Building 2 at Bäulerwisenstrasse 6 in Glattbrugg, a municipality of Opfikon next to Zurich Airport that hosts all three of Digital Realty's Zurich-area facilities. At 313,500 square feet (about 29,150 sqm), it is the largest of the three by a wide margin — roughly double the size of ZUR1 and ZUR2 combined with room to spare — and Digital Realty markets the trio together as Switzerland's largest and only carbon-neutral data centers, all running on 100% renewable electricity. ZUR3 runs 2N UPS redundancy with N+1 cooling and carries an SDEA Gold Plus sustainability rating from the Swiss Datacenter Efficiency Association, one tier below ZUR2's Platinum Plus award. Its own facility page lists ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications; the wider Zurich campus overview additionally cites SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and the FINMA RS-18/3 outsourcing standard for Swiss-regulated financial customers, though Digital Realty does not confirm on the ZUR3 page itself that every one of those extends to this specific building.
