Bridge Data Centres IIO (Thailand) Co., Ltd. received Thai Board of Investment approval on 6 May 2026 for a THB 24.6 billion (about USD 746 million) project in Chonburi Province with a planned IT load of 134 MW. The applicant entity is registered out of Singapore, consistent with Bridge Data Centres' regional structure as a Southeast Asia-focused developer that has already built out multiple campuses in Malaysia. Bridge's standard AI-Ready Data Centre Total Solution pairs cold-plate liquid cooling with air-cooled perimeter fan-walls in a hybrid layout, a design the company applies across its high-density builds. This Chonburi project adds to Bridge's existing Thai footprint and lands it in the same Eastern Economic Corridor cluster where STT GDC, DayOne, Digital Edge and others have concentrated Thailand's largest data center campuses. As is typical for a project at the BOI-approval stage, the release covers investment value and planned IT load but not a specific site address or construction timeline; those specifics are expected to follow as permitting and site work proceed. The approval is part of the same six-project, roughly USD 29 billion wave that included TikTok's expansion and the DAMAC-backed Skyline project in neighboring Chachoengsao.
