NTT Bangkok 4

NTT Global Data Centers broke ground on Bangkok 4 in 2026, expanding its Chonburi campus alongside the operational Bangkok 2 and Bangkok 3 buildings at the Amata City Chonburi industrial estate in Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor. The facility is contracted for 100 MW of power under a new purchase agreement with Amata B.Grimm Power, a subsidiary of Thai utility B.Grimm Power that already supplies NTT's two existing Chonburi buildings, with energization planned for the second quarter of 2027. Fuji Electric is building the campus's 115kV gas-insulated switchgear substation using locally manufactured transformers and switchboards — the company's first data center substation project in Thailand and its first local partnership with NTT. At 100 MW, Bangkok 4 dwarfs Bangkok 2 (3.6 MW) and Bangkok 3 (12 MW), reflecting the jump in scale hyperscale and AI tenants are now demanding from the Eastern Economic Corridor. NTT has not disclosed floor space, PUE targets or a customer list for the building. The project extends NTT's Chonburi cluster toward a planned fourth site once the previously announced Bangkok 5 land purchase with AMATA Corporation is developed, making the campus NTT's largest committed capacity in Thailand.
