Vistas Technology Amata City Chonburi

Thailand's Board of Investment approved an 80 MW data center for Vistas Technology Co., Ltd. in November 2025, backed by a 9.9 billion baht (about $306 million) investment. Vistas is a subsidiary of China's ZDATA Technologies and its Singapore-registered unit ZDATA Cloud Technology, and this was the group's second BOI-approved project in Thailand within a year, after the larger 203 MW Stratus Technology campus approved for Rayong. The site sits in the Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate, the same estate hosting DayOne's flagship Chonburi Tech Park campus, placing Vistas inside one of Thailand's most active data center clusters in the Eastern Economic Corridor southeast of Bangkok. The approval was part of a broader BOI package clearing four data center projects worth a combined $3.1 billion, alongside investments from Telehouse and NextGen Data Center, underscoring how quickly Chinese and international operators have moved to secure land and power allocations in Thailand's EEC zone. No groundbreaking date has been published, and the project remains at the BOI-approval stage pending construction.
